Student Life |
Our co-ed boarding school students enjoy a balance of support and freedom as they transition into young adulthood. In the private high school, students focus on the business of academics. The atmosphere is productive and encouraging, and extra-curricular distractions are kept to a minimum. In the dorms, students can enjoy many of the privileges they had at home, such as cell phones, music players, laptops, and gaming systems. Social activities are initiated by the school, the dorms, and by individual students. Our boarding school students participate in school clubs, on school sports teams, in community service projects, and in activities that students propose and plan. Examples of available activities in the area include movies, bowling, fishing, swimming, shopping, and local entertainment events. Dress code in the school is PE dress in the mornings and collared shirts after lunch. Dress code in the dorms is casual. In general, we coach students to dress appropriately for the situation. |
