Cedar Ridge Academy is looking forstrong teachers and dorm staff. We are accepting applications for the following positions:

Academic

We currently have seven teachers,two guidance counselors, two part time tutors/educators and aregistrar/librarian. As part of our academic team at Cedar Ridge Academy,teachers can look forward to working with 8-12 students on average per class.These positions require a Bachelor degree and certification in the subject areain which they apply to teach. Teaching candidates who are looking for a paidposition for student teaching may also apply. We will also consider applicantswho are eligible and interested in pursuing certification through theAlternative Route to Licensure (for more on this, look up details on www.usoe.org).

We are looking to add to our academic team in the following areas:
• A math teacher, high school mathematics pre-algebrathrough calculus
• A Career Technology Education (CTE) teacher
• A Spanish teacher with endorsement, or endorsementpotential, in at least one other subject area

Residential

Our dorm staff work with our clinical and academic teams tocomplete our milieu and help ensure that academic needs and therapeutic supportservice needs are met during our 'other' hours. Dorm staff are expected tomodel the behavior we expect from our students as well as bring theirinsights/strengths into mentoring the students for success in daily livingskills and peer and adult relationships. These positions require at least ahigh school degree as well as one or more years of experience working withyouth in a residential setting.

• Female dorm staff
• Male dorm staff

Admissions

Quality of fit between the students, family, and Cedar RidgeAcademy is one of the most influential factors of success with our families.Admission counselors work with educational consultants and families applying toCedar Ridge Academy to ensure that the fit is appropriate for the academic,support, and residential needs of the student. This position requires at leasta Bachelor degree along with one or more years of experience working with youthin a residential setting.

We are looking to add to our admissions team with:
•An admissions counselor

Student Services

Ourstudent services position works in support of the residential milieu byscheduling doctor appointments, managing student clothing supplies, managingstudent travel, managing meds dispensed on-campus, and many other specificstudent needs. Our student services personnel maintain constant contact withparents to meet the needs of our boarding students. For this position, weprefer a Bachelor degree and one or more years working with youth in aresidential setting. However, the Bachelor degree is not required.

We are looking to add to our Student Services team with:
• Female student services personnel
• Male student services personnel

• Academic team is five and a half years.
• Residential team is four years.
